'Honouring Bangladeshi Excellence in Education and Community engagement 2024' hosted by DUAAM, April 28 2024

On April 28, outstanding Bangladeshi teachers, students and professionals were honored at the mega event organized by Dhaka University Alumni Association Malaysia (DUAAM) at Kelab Aman in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. Honorable High Commissioner of Bangladesh High Commission, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia had graced the event as the Chief Guest.


One of the objectives of the event was to highlight the glorious achievements of Bangladeshis and how Bangladeshis are positively branding Bangladesh by working with reputation in various sectors. Through this program, awardees were categorized into groups; education sector, professional category. professors of various departments including the top 1%, 2% of the world's cited scientists were honored. Some of the notable awardees were Dr. Saidur Rahman (Professor of Sunway University), honorable Dr. Abdul Rashid Moten (Professor of IIUM); Dr. M Niaz Asadullah of Monash University and more. In addition, talented Bangladeshi students who are ranking top in various universities were given their respects.


An exciting magic performance by International Islamic University University's Professor, Dr S. M. A. Motakabber had been held. Alongside, there was one dance performance by Mrs. Subhra Saha and three other singing performances.
